There were no directions on how to set up the cords, the tent cover just stuck to the tent, which meant that the air did not circulate and made the inside of the tent wet. I attempted to stake the cords away from the tent, but that did not help.

Being able to set up a tent by myself is a necessity. Even if someone else is sleeping in it with me, I need to know I can go out by myself when I need to. This tent is super easy to set up alone, and goes together really intuitively. The materials feel good, stitching was good enough, and overall weight is decent – not the lightest by any means, but great if you split it between two people. If alone, it’s a little on the heavier side for backpacking, but will give you plenty of space to spread out. There wasn’t any wind when I tested it out, so I can’t speak to that, but the overall build felt tight when tied down. I didn’t have any condensation issues in the morning, when the outside temp was about 42deg, and that’s great.
The added gear bivvy worked for lightweight objects, and I’m happy to have it for my eyeglasses.
I can’t wait for it to warm up, because using it without the rain fly would give an amazing view of a starry sky.
