Love it for how light weight it is. Not too bad to setup, just practice in the backyard first. After some water proofing spray mine weighs 1lb 13.8oz as packed for the trail will all stakes, drawstrings and the stuff sack. it’s a one piece tent, you will have some moisture on the tent wall in the morning, but I didn’t get “rained” on. My only issues with the tent is that there is only one door toggle and it sits between the inner screen and outer wall, meaning I can only hold one door open at a time. the outer wall zipper did have a slight issue when staked too tightly, but not sure I should blame that on the tent. The zippers are buttery smooth. Would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’ve only used this one night. and had it staked the backyard an additional night. Haven’t been rained on yet.

I purchased it specifically for a week-long backpacking trip in late April, and it was incredibly lightweight and convenient. It performed flawlessly throughout in rain and strong winds. It held two standard sleeping pads without any problems and both people felt generally comfortable during the week.

I already own the 2 Pro. It’s a great tent. I wanted to try the 1 Pro to see if I would be ok with less space. If you’re not concerned with a small amount more of weight, I’d take the 2 most trips. Having the extra space is really nice. These tents while simple in design can actually be pitched in many ways by adusting the height of the poles and where you place the corner stakes (closer/further). This tent is a bit tricky to get pitched in order to get the most room out of the walls and keep it up off of the ground and breathable which is more important here because of the single door. The floor is taped, but like the other Pro versions, you have to seam seal this yourself. It doesn’t take long. The tent has a hook at the top for a light. One thing I really dislike is the brand tag next to the zipper. It catches the zipper every time. I’ll probably remove the tag. I’ve included a picture of my 2 Pro tent as well as a picture of both tents packed side by side. These are wonderful tents. You can’t go wrong with them. There’s a huge community of fans and YouTube videos with mods and hacks as well.

At 1.55 pounds including stakes right out of the bag, this tent is great for one person. The lightest weight tent I own, and at $170, is far cheaper than dyneema trekking pole tents. It does require seam sealing before use; be sure to choose seam sealant designed for sil-nylon so it sticks. Mine included a nice curved syringe for application.
I was curious about the quality, but it seems to be very well made, the bathtub bottom seems waterproof. After the first setup, it was super easy. If you are familiar with trekking pole tents you should have no problems. Just remember to stake out the bathtub bottom at 45° angle to the tent first, then the fly corners, then put in the trekking pole to raise the body. The vestibule and fly wall stakes last.
Quadzilla is taking this tent on the Appalachian Trail and loves it; great performance.

My son used this tent on a 12 day backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains, including a few nights of rain. The tent worked very well and the waterproofing worked fine. We made a footprint out of Tyvek. The tent was high quality, and the highly reflective guy lines were useful for visibility. The tent is very lightweight and highly compact. Great for ultralight backpacking. Make sure you buy enough 6 inch tent stakes. Also, there are a range of useful youtube videos that show you how to set up the tent, and various useful modifications which you can do.

This is a wonderful tent and a great value. The quality is excellent. The tent does not leak even in heavy rains. The weight of my tent is 2.6 pounds including the stakes and stuff sack so it is perfect for week long, solo backpacking trips.
