I recently took this on a four day trip in a state park, which was also my first time camping in years. And this tent was just about perfect. It’s very easy to put up, and so long as you keep the entrance closed, kept out the bugs and weather. It rained the weekend of that trip, and the tent did a fine job keeping me dry. Although I will say, since it was heavy rain, it started condensing inside? And I know it wasn’t from the heat because it was all around the sides. it wasn’t very bad, but just enough to be a bit of an annoyance. So I don’t know if I’d really recommend it for heavy rains. But otherwise, it’s a great tent. The bag it goes in is pretty small and easy to carry, and it had just enough room for me to put in my twin sized fold out bed and mattress with my bag next to it. The description says that this is a two person tent? I guess if you really want to squeeze two people inside, you probably can. But I say its better as a one-person tent

I usually don’t post reviews on Tentcamping.shop, but I felt compelled to write one for this product. I think some people have unreasonable expectations for the price they are paying for this tent. I bought it to take it on a trip so that I could have some privacy while sharing a room with other people.
The tent was easy to set up (less than 10 minutes all by myself) and once set up, it looked pretty neat. It is very specious for one adult (average size); and it might be just fine for two people if you are not plus size.
Would I take it camping? I don’t think so. Unless I was sure it wasn’t going to rain or be windy. I’m pretty sure this tent is not waterproof and definitely wouldn’t be able to stand up to strong winds. You would need to buy a different kind of tent to go camping and be assured you would be protected. In other words, you would have to pay more! Let’s be realistic here.
Having said that, I am very impressed with how well made this tent is. It served its purpose and now my daughter is having fun playing in it!
I’m glad I bought it and would buy it again.
Oh, and it is easy to take down! Very compact.

As a longtime backpacker, I couldn’t pass up the chance to test out this $24 tent! I bought the tent on Tentcamping.shop, and this is not a promotion for the tent in anyway. With that said, I think it’s a screaming deal if you’re willing to put up with the shoddy construction and simplicity of this tent.

– incredibly light at just 2.5 lbs … if you switched out the stuff sacks for lighter ones it would be even lighter
– can work for 2 people; would fit your gear if you used this tent solo
– did I mention ultra light and cheap??? total deal

– fiberglas poles are chintzy
– zippers and whatnot are not built to last
– totally leaks at the door in my “rain” test
I’m not saying it’s a great tent. But I am saying that it’s a screaming deal on a pretty light tent! I compared it with an REI tent that is bigger, heavier, and 10x the price. The REI tent is great … but is all that weight and cost worth it? This cheapo tent got me thinking a lot about that question
