Fanttik C4 Tent Review
I’ve been living in the Fanttik C4 tent for a little over a week now, and honestly, it’s pretty great. Setting it up is a breeze. It’s about 7’ by 7’ space, so there’s plenty of room to move around. At 5’3”, I can easily stand up and change clothes.
The ventilation in this tent is absolutely fantastic – it’s basically a screened-in room.
The tent is made of quality materials, so it feels pretty durable. There’s even a zipped extension cord port at the bottom.
It’s almost completely waterproof. We had a serious thunderstorm last night (see video) with heavy rain for hours, and only a dime-sized drop of water got in. I have no idea where it came from, but that’s a tiny issue in the grand scheme of things.
The door configuration is a bit of a pain. It’s easy to trip over, especially at first. I get that it’s a structural thing, but it’s still a little annoying. Also, it doesn’t block out light, but I didn’t really expect it to, so no big deal there.
In terms of space, it comfortably sleeps 4 people on the floor, 3 in cots, or 2 in cots if you want a bit more room. I’m planning to buy another one for my dad, who’s looking to start camping. This tent is perfect for him since it’s so easy to set up.
All in all, I’m really happy with this tent. It’s handled strong winds and heavy rain like a champ. Definitely worth the buy, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I’ve now been living in this tent for a month. I still love it. It’s held up to everything I’ve asked of it. Look at the pic – I’ve purchased 3 times! My dad, who is 65 and not an avid camper, can set it up in about 90 seconds, minus staking and guying. I still highly recommend this tent.
I’ll be full time for about another month. If anything changes, I’ll update again.

Easy to put up. It took me less than 3 minutes by myself the first time. Easy to take down, from fully set up to back in the bag is about 8 minutes by myself. The ventilation is great! Plenty of room for 2 twin cots or a queen sized mattress plus a couple of gear boxes and 2 dogs. Unlike the Gazelle tents, this will fit flat and lengthwise in a Jeep Gladiator (5 foot) bed. It was a big sell point for me. For Overland Camping, I want all my gear in the bed. Yes it’s too heavy to backpack with, but I pack my gear in the bed so it wasn’t a problem. Getting the tent back in the bag wasn’t much of a fight, but I now wrap a couple of bungee cords around it to help getting back in the bag. The price point is much better than the Gazelle! It’s also been very durable in higher winds while out this year, 20 plus mph wind doesn’t have much effect when tied down properly. I don’t know about rain and this tent because it’s been very dry this year around here and I haven’t had the misfortune of having to camp in the rain.
