The tent did not come with instructions, but it is simple to figure out on your own anyway. With the inner mesh net (to keep bugs out” you can comfortably fit 1 person. If you take the mesh out you could fit 3-4, but there would not be a bottom/cover on the ground if you take the mesh net out. Overall I think this tent will come in handy during our hunting trip and keep us warm!

This tent is very durable and it keeps the tempature. I was in the mountain twelve degrees and I used a buddy heater and I stayed warm.

This is a good tent a little tricky at first to put up and have all the walls tight, inner liner is helpful with keeping bugs out only thing I don’t like is the main pole is right in front of the mesh door so you have to go around it to get in and out of it. The first time I put it up I did notice there is a little hole at the top near where the main pole goes in the main part of the tent glad it wasn’t raining when I had it up or it would have been dripping on top of my stove also noticed when I took the mesh out there was a small tare in the tent behind where the mesh sits but besides that it’s a solid tent one improvement that could be made is a double zipper on the doors one at the top and one at the bottom so you can crack the top open and get fresh air flowing instead of having to unzip the whole door!

Does the job but as others have mentioned a double zipper on each door would be a game changer to control ventilation in the tent much more efficiently. Inner mesh is decent but I find that it doesn’t exactly fit with the tent itself correctly (just a tad small as to be unable to secure onto all four corners properly, but like i said it still does the job. The small stakes provided won’t last too many set-ups. Honestly get a bigger tent if you seriously want to fit 2 people comfortably, perfect for 1 person tho- at the very least true if you plan on using inner mesh at all. No mesh, could handle 2 people crowdedly. This is a decent first time hot tent experience, definitely learned what to look for when I eventually buy my next one. If you go for the cheaper tent like this one, don’t go cheap on the stove you use tho, the cheap stoves seem to leak and are made from poor materials. Just saying.

I recently received this tent, and upon setting it up, I discovered a slight problem with the stove jack. On 3
Mar., at approximately 1600 hrs, I contacted Firehiking, via Tentcamping.shop. In just over two hours, I received my initial response from either Firehiking, or their seller rep. Two hours!!!!! I was expecting that many or more days to hear back. I should add that I attached photos of the problem, which no doubt helped. By that evening, following just a few back and forth messages, a resolution by them was offered, and which I accepted. They said a new stovejack should ship in 5-6 days. This, my good Tentcamping.shop friends, is exceptional customer service. I wasn’t questioned, they didn’t make excuses. Instead, this is what we have, and here is what we can do. I hope they read this, and know how much I appreciate their prompt response. Thank you Firehiking. Well done.

This tent was very nice it got down to 17 last night and I was very warm in here only fits 2-3 people tho sadly because this is a very warm waterproof tent and I love it 10/10 recommend

This was the first time out with the tent. It rained 3 of the 4 days. I liked the simplicity of setting up the tent. The 1/2 mesh gave privacy when doors were open for air flow. As time went on, adjustments were required, most were because of inexperience. The centre pole is in the way but it is better than having multiple poles. It is what I was looking for in a tent – ample space for indoor activities.

This tent is easy and fast to set up. Quality of this tent is very good. It’s waterproof and very spacious and it’s warm on its own but I also got a woodstove for this tent and it holds the heat well. I love the fact that it comes with the inner screen tent with a floor to keep you dry and bug free inner tent takes up half the floor space. It’s not the lightest tent at 6.2 pounds but you can leave behind the inner tent to reduce the weight by a couple of pounds. (especially if you plan to sleep more than 2 people)

So i had low expectations for this tent. At first, i was second guessing my purchase but once i put it to the test on a recent camping trip with unexpected weather, i completely changed my mind and decided to keep it! This tent held up so well in the mountains when i later realized we were located in a canyon where were dealing with both harsh winds and continuous rainfall. Also, it didnt leak at all which was one of my main concerns, it held its ground throughly. I highly recommend this tent to anyone.

So, overall the tent is solid, lightweight, and for the most part a good buy for a tent without a brand name. I used it Sept 23, 2023 in Algonquin park.
Setup: easy
Sturdy: very sturdy. Held up no issue once pegged into the ground and pole in place.
Chimney setup for stove: very easy.
I used a cot in my setup and it worked well. This tent is the perfect setup for a one man crew. Without the stove I can see it accommodating 2-3 more people.
If I could have one thing – 2 way zippers would be better. Having to find an end in the dark is not desirable. For the price I suppose its a little complaint.

It kepts up pretty toasty warm after our fishing trip in January.
Only downside was that the fireplace cut out had the flap on the wrong side. And the velcro couldn’t be adjusted to be correct.
I bought another one and it looks like they out-sourced this task to another company cause the one I bough also had the velcro reversed – so the flap was on the inside of the tent instead of the outside.
May just need to buy some double sided hard velcro to fix it…

Purchased this tent quite recently but have already put it through its paces. Put together really well with everything as advertised. Held up nicely in some cold weather and also didn’t leak in a rainstorm. You need to cut the pipe hole for hot tenting, use a sharp knife and no problem. Overall very happy with this hot tent! Highly recommend! Stove fit nicely in the stove Jack. Will be out many times over the winter in this tent!
