The tent itself is in order and just as the post states. The seams are sealed to help moisture proof so that’s good quality. I did knock the posts over a few times while I was working in and out of the tent and that was annoying. There needs to be a gromet to hold the posts in place better.

ended up setting it up in the woods which i guess was a mistake because its huge but thin and i ended up tearing 2 holes in it trying to put the Velcro chimney jacket on. it seems like the only way to put it on is while the tent is taken down the Velcro around the flap that covers the hole where the jacket would be gets in the way a lot

This was a perfect tent, EXACTLY what I was looking for. Third pole was a bit tight, and I accidentally bent the pole first time I was setting it up. However, Dandelion Shell Team was nice and very supportive to replace it for me!. Fourth time around, I got the hang of setting it up and took me no time at all. I got to try my first wood stove in it. I loved the little details of the tents and I can’t wait to take this tent out on my next backpacking trip!

I was intrigued by this teepee style tent seeing as I don’t currently have one and was looking at it more for use as a breakfast/eating area than a tent, especially with the hot jack functionality. It’s been pretty hot lately so I didn’t get a chance to test the hot jack since I didn’t make a fire, however it seems like that aspect should work. The tent itself is high quality although I do sort of wish it had a footprint with a cutout near the jack but that may not have been possible due to the heat. I used my own footprint which was oddly sized for the circular shape but it worked well enough. The tent is roomy but I did have to constantly be mindful of the center pole support, I’m not used to having anything in the center and I kept running into it. I’ll probably end up using it as an eating area when car camping and for that purpose it works quite well with plenty of room for 4 people to sit with a couple portable tables. For how large the tent is the carrying sack and how small everything packs down is quite impressive, it’s really not much bigger than one of my 1.5 person tents so I really like that aspect along with the relatively light weight of the whole package.

There are no instructions for the tent so you’re gonna need to use that big ol’ brain to set this one up! It also doesn’t come with tent stakes even though there shown being used in the picture. Once you do have it all set up with the guy lines and your own stakes this tent is still small for 2 people to fit comfortably! I’m 5,4 and if you’re over 6 foot your gonna be poking out the tent so be mindful! It’s definitely very thin as well I camp with a dog and I can definitely see his nails poking a hole in the bottom. Tent has a small storage pocket for your phone and wallet but that’s about it. It’s definitely a good tent for the money but there are definitely better options out there
