This is an easy tent to pitch. The most challenging par is getting the traversing pole for the vestibule through the sleeve. The main vestibule is useful, great to cover gear like bikes or other items that won’t attract critters large and small. Roomy for four people, decent ventilation. We seam-sealed the fly and tub. The fly is huge. We experienced some hard rain one evening, but the tent was bone dry (we had a footprint as well). When the guy lines are used, it is reasonably sturdy in wind. Probably too much volume for shoulder seasons unless you have appropriately warm bags. It’s constructed well, and was a nice replacement for our 6-man Sundome.

Definitely a great buy!! Easy to put up, took me 20 min alone on my first try in my living room and 15 min with my partner at camp, and stood up well to light-moderate rain and wind with no issues. The vestibule is wonderful!! Both the tent and vestibule are so spacious, tent could def fit 4 people comfortably plus a big dog or 2. We laid down a small tarp in the vestibule to act as a mud room when it began to rain but also could easily be used as storage to keep your stuff from prying eyes. The fly was insulating, even just the base tent was insulating, and the whole tent looked great too, just like the pictures. There are two doors and both are accessible with the fly on for great ventilation no matter the weather. Definitely invest in the foot print!!! If you just use a big tarp that is larger than the dimensions of the floor and it rains…. You will have a bunch of water pooling under the tent. Also the floor is waterproof but thin and you don’t want to risk a rip on a sharp rock or stick.
