Never used pop-up tents before but this is a breeze. The setup is super easy, hassle-free, and pops right up with no problems. It’s made from high-quality materials and is windproof. We stayed camping on the beach when the wind really picked up, I was worried the tent wouldn’t hold but it did hold up perfectly. The fabric is light but solid, and tear-proof. The only downside is the size of the thing, even folded it takes up some space so for traveling on light, I wouldn’t recommend it but it is perfect for beach or prolonged camping where space and weight is not an issue.

This popup canopy is awesome!!!! We took it for a beach trip and it created such a luxury experience. First, stays contained in a circular bag. The design is so cool – unwrap and it will literally expand on its own. Then you just pull out each side and anchor and there you go. There were multiple ways to secure it, but we only needed the stakes, even in the wind. The door and windows allow for air flow and close for privacy if needed. It is large as well. Easy to put away once you get the hang of it too. Fast drying as well. We put it in the back of the car, covered in sand, then placed in a garage for 2 weeks. I fully expected to have to clean it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and there was no smell and the sand just brushed off! This thing is super convenient!

Be careful (as the caution signs say) opening this up! It assembles itself completely in about half a second, and if any of your body parts are in the way, it will not care. Pull the velcro piece off, and…. BOOM!

I was a little skeptical on how much usage we’d end up getting out of this pop-up tent, but it’s super convenient and I think it’s going to be a beach staple from here on out. With a family full of pale Irish descendants, the sun is always a bit of an oppressive factor at the beach. This tent gives us a handy little room to escape the sun for a few moments. It doesn’t really help keep you cool, but getting out of the direct sunlight sure is nice.
Setup and takedown are both very easy. It’s pretty much one of those pop-open sun shades for a car windshield, just in tent form!
