I took it out a couple of weeks ago on a cool clear night. It went up easily though the poles that really don’t flex were a bit confusing for the initial set up. There is a piece in the overhead bow that is bent, just a little, and you must get it lined up exactly right and then it all goes together like it should. But the poles are aluminum and don’t flex. So, if that little four-inch bit isn’t aligned right, you run the risk of bending something right out of the box. I don’t know if it will keep the rain out, but the outer shell has a rubbrtizred/plasticized inner layer and should be waterproof. I really like double wall tents; this one has an inner and outer layer. A cool night produced no condensation. Lastly, amazingly, it went easily back into the sack it came out of. Should fit nicely on the back of my motorcycle.

I ordered this tent for myself to use on long hiking trips. The tent is very lightweight, but yet extremely durable. The fabric is thin, but very strong. The non-rip technology works well. I have used this tent dozens of times and it has yet to rip. The design was done very well and it is easy to set up. The metal O-rings and thick string, add to its good quality and durability. I have used this tent several times in the rain and it is very water repellent. For the price you won’t find a better bargain. I am very satisfied with this tent and would highly recommend it.
