Went camping and found when unboxing that this tent was used and returned. Was soaking wet and had sand in it. Mold was not terrible but noticeable and discolored the fabric. The tent has some real quality and very stable in 30+ MPH winds and survived a rain shower without leakage. But some of the cordage was damaged when we received it (Broken clips and missing stakes) Next one I will set up prior to camping to make sure its new LOL.

For the size and height – I ad no trouble setting it up – it took about 40 minutes the first time.

I took this tent winter camping for two days. It held up to severe wind and medium rain for two days. I am a 5’5″ woman that has never assembled a tent before and it was easy to assemble, it took me about 1 hour. I think I could do it in half the time next time. I felt secure having it attached to the car but being able to sleep in the car and close the hatch. It seems very sturdy and I think it will hold up to snow very well.

First time out and it rained most of the time. While not a torrential downpour or misting, it was a consistent rain and the tent held up great with just the rain fly on! It eventually got saturated around the bottom wall panel but the seams held up and the floor was fine on a footprint and flat surface.
The windows/doors on all four sides is great and it was easy to attach to the car. The excess material where it goes around the car can act like a wind tunnel in stronger winds, but the tent was fine when staked down and tied to the car.
The largest tent I’ve ever used, it’s tall and spacious. Think it’s going to be a nice addition to the car camping setup!

Not quite fitting to the back of car but that’s ok.. . However used 1night, it’s summer rain but very windy, not fit for camping water gets into all sides. Very flimsy, not enough outer covering, wet inside see photo. If I didn’t put a tarpaulin ground sheet we will be more wet. Do not buy, even expensive and so not worth it.

The quality looks to be really good. I can’t wait to get out this spring and use it on the coast.

Setup was easy as I did a dry run at home prior to arrival at camp site. We used it for one very cold night in Southern California back in mid February. Nice to have a tent that can either be attached to rear of SUV or stand alone. We had no issues with condensation or anything like that though it wasn’t raining the night we used it. It was a bit windy that evening and the tent held up well. The tent has plenty of room for 3 adults with lots of windows for ventilation.
Only thing is i need to figure out how to enclose the lower two sides where the tent attaches to the SUV with rear hatch up. We have another camping trip coming up to figure that out. Otherwise, I like the tent very much.

Overall we like this tent, worked well for our short camping trip, liked the size and ability to open the flaps with screens. Rain fly seems somewhat small to keep rain out when you enter or leave the tent. We didn’t actually use the car flap to attach to our Subaru Outback when we camped, but it seems to fit okay. Fairly easy to set up but we would greatly recommend a few practice sessions to set it up, AND, take down and packing up, BEFORE actually going camping. Instructions are pretty much useless as your are guided by photos and not much text. Like many products, it seems like the people that write the instructions never actually use the products. That being said, the tent is not that hard to set up, with some practice. Loops do bunch up while inserting the poles so make sure someone hold the tent in the middle (top) to help guide the poles through. All said, we think this tent is a good one and would recommend.
