Not happy with this product. I can deal with leaks at seams but even in a low/steady to moderate rain, it leaks from the center top right on the top of your head. I’ll try putting a tarp over it but should not have to do that.

My daughter rides in equestrian competitions and my wife and I tend to spend most of the day sitting in chairs outside watching her. We’re in Florida so there’s always heat, but often also torrential downpours, high winds, and of course, almost always bright sun. We got this to provide some protection from the elements. While we haven’t had any extreme weather with it so far, we’ve been happy with the basics.
Setup is very easy. It mostly just folds out. Tear down and fitting it in the provided container can be a bit more of a challenge but I think it’s something we’ll learn to do better over time. It is a little large to tote around, but not much. It could be made smaller, but only making the supports more rigid, which would then make the setup more difficult. It’s pretty flat but does have a rather large diameter when folded up.
I don’t know if I’d want to try to pour 4 people into this as advertised. I’ve always found that tent sizes were really about 1/2 of what was advertised though, at least if you want a minimal level of comfort. For me and my wife, it’s roomy enough for us to stay in and keep out of the weather.
