I took my camping rainfly out for the first time in four rainy days and nights of camping in New Hampshire. My wife and I and our two dogs have a Roadloft camper kit in a Chyrsler Pacifica. It’s the first time for the Roadloft too (it performed well). The rainfly worked great! Kept the rain out, offered lots of fresh air with the liftgate open, kept the bugs out, and gave us extra space for the dogs and gear, and a dry roof for cooking. I was able to drive in and out with the rainfly in place by marking on the ground where my rear tires were, and just backing into the same spot when we returned. At first I struggled a bit to get it connected right, but once you figure it out (and follow directions), it’s fairly easy. It helped when I held the rear liftgate down a bit while placing the rainfly over. It seems to be a quality product, like a good tent. It helps for two people to set it up, but one can do it. Recommended.
