The tent was super easy to set up for my husband and I. It was a little tricky at first figuring out what poles were which but once you get that it’s a breeze. It fit nicely around our Subaru forester and made it super comfortable to sleep in the car while keeping all of our supplies and day use stuff in the tent. At over 6 feet tall, it was nice being able to stand tall in the tent. We had more than enough room for 2 kids and 2 dogs while parents slept in the back of the car. It was very easy to setup the main area but the connection to the car was a learning curve. It’s a good idea to practice that setup before camping, but it’s a universal fit so I understand it won’t be completely perfect, and for being a universal it still fit pretty good. The open air top ventilated well and I liked the double door design.

Bought the tent for use on my Toyota Prius and it does not disappoint! We can pump the A/C from the car into the tent and on hot and steamy days it makes a huge difference. The space and comfort is definitely worth the money. The tent is a very good quality and easy to assemble and attach to the car. We didn’t have any rain, but I suspect it will comfortable in the rain too! It comes down easily and fits nicely in the duffel bag. I highly recommend! We recently went camping up in New England and we’re a little concerned that the nights might get a little chilly. We purchased this tent and have no regrets. We were so warm cozy up in our car and it was so nice to have Space to house our luggage and other things! Also I could see this being great if you have kids! It held up really well for our first time the tent was very easy to set up The hardest part was just identifying where to strap all the pieces onto the car. Although I wish that process was a little more streamlined once it was all attached. It really was a great set up.

We bought this tent to camp with our 2015 Nissan Frontier with an ARE topper. In the past, we put a queen air mattress in the bed, opened the tailgate, and slept with our feet hanging out under the topper. We needed a solution that allowed us more covered space. This tent was the answer. We used it the first night and loved it. Adapting it to an ARE topper is slightly different from an SUV hatch, but it works just fine! (PS – leave the topper back window down when setting up the tent, then use pool noodles on the corner edges of the window.) The enclosed tent room is perfect for chairs, relaxing, and privacy. The awning gives extra space for a table, chairs, and coolers. The setup is pretty straightforward (once you get the hang of it). We didn’t use the rainfly because summer has been weather so warm and dry. I am looking forward to more camping adventures with our tent! The photo is for a quick overnight camping trip where we didn’t set up the awning. It still gave us more than enough space and the privacy we needed.
